Student resource center provides access to online glossary, course support materials, interactive homework, industry forms, legal and industry reference material and more to assist with your success. Students receive enrollment keys to access their individual courses. New material added on a periodic basis. Log-in and advance your understanding.
Email Communication
Some computer settings, and ISPs specifically YAHOO, may prevent AREA emails from being received; please check your spam, bulk, or junk mail folders. If you find the e-mail there, your ISP or your own software spam-blocker or filter is diverting our e-mail. Please add AREA-GA.com to your ‘safe senders’ list in your address book. Contact AREA, 770-591-5552, if you do not receive your information.
Exams
In any course that requires a school final exam, students must have completed all of the class assignments and have met the minimum attendance requirements before being allowed to take the exam. A passing grade is 75 or greater. on exam make-ups. Prompt attendance is mandatory for all sessions. Students who miss class time may be ineligible to take final. Class time make-ups must be scheduled through the office and an administration fee is required for each make-up session. Questions should be directed to school office not your instructor. AREA has compiled several internet resources and links that will benefit individuals interested in starting their own business. Links on the main page will assist any new business or individual and additional links have been grouped by the three core programs taught by AREA. Just visit Resources to view the business links and the various internet sites recommended by your instructor. Information under these pages is available for download that will be helpful in your education and career. Sites are added and updated periodically. Please check back from time to time to insure that you keep informed.
State Meetings - Appraisal Board and Real Estate Commission
All licensees are encouraged to attend these important regulatory meetings to better understand and become part of the process. It is at these meetings that the rules governing real estate licensees are discussed and decided.

Weather Alert Policy
In the event of severe weather, notices are posted on the home page of the AREA website and on the Student Portal webpage under the specific class. Notice is provided to 11 Alive News. Email notices are sent to students and phone calls at a reasonable hour may be attempted for those students who travel a far distance. Please make every effort to provide the AREA staff with current contact information and check the website if you are concerned about changes to your class schedule.
